Graduate School’s Governance
The management of the four Graduate Programs and the Graduate School is based on two mechanisms of steering and evaluation.
At the level of the Graduate School, a steering committee (also known as the Council of Parties) is composed of all partner institutions (École des Ponts, UPEC, CNRS). It meets at least once a year to evaluate the devices implemented by the different Graduate Programs, share the progress of the project, and discuss the strategic orientations of the Graduate School. It is informed by the financial monitoring of the budget execution carried out by the Department of Establishment Projects of the General Management delegated to Financial Affairs, as well as the progress indicators collected by the Department of Support for Steering and Continuous Improvement.
At the level of each Graduate Program, a steering committee deploys the orientations discussed in the Council of Parties of the Graduate School. These committees bring together teacher-researchers and researchers from partner institutions, training programs, and research units, as well as doctoral schools. The role of these steering committees is to select scholarship and internship applications based on specified and visible rules for the students of the concerned programs. The steering committee also evaluates the training modules to be opened and accompanies their creation through continuous evaluation.
