GP DIGIS
Introduction to the GP DIGIS
The GP DIGIS aims to support students who wish to benefit from a research-focused education, potentially leading to a doctoral program. To achieve this, it brings together the expertise of teacher-researchers and researchers at the intersection of social sciences, digital humanities, data analysis, and artificial intelligence to offer an interdisciplinary training program on the theme "Digital Studies and Innovation" for sustainable and intelligent cities.
Training Devices
Six master's programs, as well as a dozen research units and programs, have come together to build the GP DIGIS. The pooling of expertise from these master's programs is offered to students to build and deploy their research project by conducting studies that combine social sciences and digital humanities. Access to specific reinforcement modules, seminars, and collective creative activities (Sprint, Hackathon, tutored project, Master-PhD meetings) as well as integration into laboratory life are proposed within the GP DIGIS framework.
Two types of research scholarships can be awarded to students who have joined the GP DIGIS: merit-based scholarship (which can be combined with another grant) and full scholarship (associated with an internship at a research laboratory). The amounts vary depending on the level of the program (M1/M2).
Students who have followed the GP DIGIS and met the eligibility criteria (conducting a research project, participating in core modules, etc.) validate a diploma supplement (SAD) with the mention of GP DIGIS, which is awarded after the diploma jury at the end of the academic year.
How to Apply
The GP DIGIS jury process takes place in two stages: first, students can apply to be part of the GP and participate in the proposed modules (core and optional). Then, once the selection of applications is validated through the official jury, the scholarship application period is declared open.
The calendar is updated each academic year, with presentations and office hours scheduled to reach the entire audience of the six concerned programs.
